These last few days have been really hard on me, So I have been searching frantically over these days for someone that speaks to me. I have found a few paragraphs that I would like to share. :)
Don’t forget who you really are. And I’m not talking about your so-called real name. All names are made up by someone else, even the one your parents gave you. You know who you really are. When you’re alone at night, looking up at the stars, or maybe lying in your bed in total darkness, you know that nameless person inside you…Your muscles will toughen. So will your heart and soul. That’s necessary for survival. But don’t lose touch with that person deep inside you, or else you won’t really have survived at all.
How would your life be different if you stopped allowing other people to dilute or poison your day with their words or opinions? Let today be the day you stand strong in the truth of your beauty and journey through your day without attachment to the validation of others. You have to accept not everyone is going to love you back, that's why it's most important to love yourself
I don't know why we all hang on to something we know we’re better off letting go. It’s like we’re scared to lose what we don’t even really have. Some of us say we’d rather have that something than absolutely nothing, But the truth is, to have it halfway is harder than not having it at all
“It is dreadful when something weighs on your mind, not to have a soul to unburden yourself to. You know what I mean. One of the hardest things in life is having words in your heart that you can't utter
Your life can change. The moment you finally say to yourself, ''I've had it! I know I'm much more than I'm demonstrating mentally, emotionally, and physically in my life." Only you can decide to alter your life. You can decide to change certain aspects of your life. You can decide to never again settle for less than you can be or for anything other than you deserve."
What is family? They were the people who claimed you. In good, in bad, in parts or in whole, they were the ones who showed up, who stayed in there, regardless. It wasn’t just about blood relations or shared chromosomes, but something wider, bigger. We have many families over time. Our family of origin, the family we created, and the groups you moved through while all of this was happening: friends, lovers, sometimes even strangers. None of them perfect and we couldn’t expect them to be. You can’t make any one person your world. The trick was to take what each could give you and build your world from it.
You were born to be real, not to be perfect. You’re here to be you, not to be what someone else wants you to be. Stand up for yourself, look them in the eye, and say “Don’t judge me until you know me, don’t underestimate me until you've challenged me, and don’t talk about me until you’ve talked to me
You deserve a day where worries don't get in the way of anything. A day where even if some people are insensitive or unkind, you're not going to mind because the blessings in your life are far greater than the burdens that people are trying to place on you.

Dear Miss Fashion Lady;
ReplyDeleteBe honest with yourself. I dont know if you are a member of my page but you "stole" these ideas (quotes and photos) from my page called Lessons Learned In Life. This is not your project. This is mine. How can you call this "your' blog? It is a terrible shame when I take countless of hours researching quotes and photos to match and then in seconds, someone like you, comes along, copies and pastes them to their website and tells the public that is is their work. Now you are going to hand it at school and say it is your work. No this is plagiarism. Some of the quotes on here, I wrote them myself. That is called stealing "Intellectual Property". I am presently writing a book called Lessons Learned In life and I have had my quotes copyrighted, there for I can take legal action against you. Now if you had at least given me credit, and wrote "Lessons Learned In Life" from Facebook at the end of each quote and photo that would of be polite and courteous of you. That is what honorable people do. Brigitte, Moderator of Lessons Learned In Life
If you read the first sentence before you started to verbally attack Miss JayElleEm, you would have noticed that it said she found them and didn't actually say that they were her ideas. I am sure Miss JayElleEm looks to your Facebook page for inspiration and in times when she isn't doing so well for advice. That is what I get from her posts. Also, Miss JayElleEm stated that She WAS writing this for a school project, She isn't anymore, she is just doing to to make people happy. :)
DeleteI am truly sorry, It was late at night and I wasn't thinking. I should have given you credit, In the future I will do so. Once again, I am sorry for any inconvenience.
DeleteMy apologies, I just read you've been going through a difficult time. Lets just forget all about this. But please in the future, add the credits to the quotes and photos ok.
ReplyDeleteTake care and sorry to sound so angry.
